Prima Shipping Group becomes sole shareholder in Port of Tolkkinen Oy

Prima Shipping Group acquired all Meriaura Group’s shares in Port of Tolkkinen Oy in June 2011.

Tom Broman joined Prima Logistics Oy Ab Ltd in March 2011.
Diedrik Järnefelt became a part of Prima Shipping Group as Marine Superintendent
in April. His previous job was at Alfons Håkans and he has been working at sea
for 10 years altogether including a few years in our own fleet.
He has also worked as VTS Operator in FMA.
New faces 2010

Taija Carlsson joined our Accounting department in February. She worked earlier as Administrative Assistant in Oy Aug. Ljungqvist Ab at Kotka.
Henrik Bagge started working with us in June. He works mainly at Tolkkinen port and is one of the Prima Logistics' fellows. He has worked at Rettig Group Oy Ab Bore.
Kim Harjulin came to strengthen Prima Chartering Oy Ab in September 2010 having 30 years experience of liquid bulk shipping in all sizes and categories both domestically and abroad.
Prima Shipping Group and Meriaura Group acquired Tolkkinen port area from Stora Enso

In March 2010 a newly established company, Port of Tolkkinen Ltd acquired
the port at the closed down sawmill of Tolkkinen including its warehouse and
office buildings. The area includes some 180 metres of quayside and
19,000 m2 of storage space. Port of Tolkkinen Ltd is jointly owned by
Prima Shipping Group and Meriaura Group of Turku.
Prima Shipping is now Prima Shipping Group.

Founded in 2008 run by Mr. Matias Sundman, well experienced tanker broker formally active at Alexia Shipping.
Prima Logistics - multimodal logistic solutions
Founded in 2010 is one of the new members in the Group enforced by Mr. Mikael Wickholm, formally responsible for Schenker Project Logistics in Finland.
Prima Shipping - short-sea shipping and vessel management
Ship owners with long traditions in the Northern seas - flying the Finnish flag.
