Letter of intent with Stora Enso Oyj

Prima Shipping Group together with Meriaura Oy has signed a Letter of Intent with Stora Enso Plc concerning the acquiring of Port of Tolkkinen. Port of Tolkkinen is located just outside Porvoo and is equipped with excellent road connections. There is a 7,5-meter fairway leading to the harbour.

The 8-hectare area consists of 180 meters of quay, an office building and warehouses totaling to 19000 m2.

The company to be established running the Port will provide port and warehouse services in Tolkkinen. The port will be a good supplement to the logistic operations for the both owners.

Prima Shipping Group was established in 1987. Today the company runs five vessels. Other companies in the Group are Prima Logistics Ltd and tanker brokerage Prima Chartering Ltd.
